The Bounty Boulevard State School (BBSS) Community has agreed on a dress code for all students, which support students to participate fully in school learning activities.
Consistent student dress standards promote students to share the school identity and communicate a positive image of our school as a highly regarded community of learners. We expect that all students uphold and enhance that image of Bounty Boulevard State School with good standards of dress and behaviour at all times. Students wearing an item of the Bounty Boulevard State School uniform, are representatives of the school and therefore the Student Code of Conduct applies whilst in uniform, whether on or off the school site.
Students are supported to:
- be of neat and tidy appearance at all times;
- wear the agreed BBSS uniform, inclusive of all elements;
- wear enclosed shoes suitable for participation in physical activity each day;
- wear formal uniform on non-designated Health and Physical Education (HPE) days;
- wear the BBSS wide brimmed hat, while engaged in outdoor activities; and
- wear the full uniform (formal or sports) when representing our school at community events or activities.
The Bounty Boulevard State School Dress Code enables students to participate fully in all school activities and contributes to, and supports, a healthy and safe learning environment in compliance with Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), Workplace Health and Safety Act 1989 (Qld), and Gender Equity in Education Policy Statement 1992.
