Our P&C is a small group of parents, staff and members of the school community. We work hand-in-hand with the school leadership team to deliver programs, equipment and funding for activities to make the school journey of our children as amazing and memorable as possible. Our P&C runs the Bounty Bite Café as our main source of fundraising revenue and coordinates fundraising or free events in conjunction with the school throughout the year.
Over the last few years, the P&C has provided:
- The undercover pickup area on Aurora Boulevard
- Sausage sizzles on carnival days
- End of year gifts for Year 6 graduation
- Funding for programs initiated by student groups
- Contribution to the Defence garden
- Wellbeing Warriors initiative and prizes in conjunction with Mental Health Week
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month either online, at the school or a mix of both. Our meetings should only take about an hour and provide an opportunity to meet other parents, hear school updates directly from the Principal and leadership team and give you a great opportunity to ask questions and provide input into new programs and policies as they arise. We often have guest visits by local members of government, presentations from suppliers and members of our school or broader community.
All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend P&C meetings. The following parents were elected to the P&C Executive for 2022:
President – Jason Burton
Vice President – Melanie Read
Secretary – Matthew Ready & Jodie Kilian
Treasurer – Rebecca Palmer
