Bounty Boulevard State School operates a Bring Your Own Device program called the Anywhere, Anytime iPad program, and encourages all parents and carers to supply a compatible iPad for their child. We operate on a 1:1 basis in the classroom for years 3 to 6, whilst Prep to Year 2 students have access to shared trolley devices used on a rotational basis.
If you are unable to provide a compatible device for your child, the school can provide an iPad to supplement 1:1 usage in Year 3-6 classrooms, however this device must remain at school and cannot be taken home.
Student use of an iPad at Bounty, whether it is a Bounty-issued device or a BYO device, is permitted once the school office receives a completed and signed iPad Agreement, and a completed Online Services Consent Form (OSCF - previously known as 3rd Party Apps Consent). The iPad Agreement is completed upon enrolment and is valid for the life of your child's schooling here at Bounty.
The Online Services Consent Form ( OSCF ) is now completed through QParents. Families can log in to their QParents account to access and complete the form. Notifications about the OSCF will be sent via QParents when the form becomes available. This typically occurs shortly after enrolment for new families and again when a child reaches a new stage in their schooling. Additionally, a new OSCF may be requested through QParents if the school identifies a new online service for classroom use that was not previously listed.
For assistance with QParents, please contact the school office. Any enquiries regarding the OSCF should be directed to your child's classroom teacher in the first instance or the school office.
The Anywhere, Anytime Handbook available in our Forms & Documents section HERE outlines some rules and expectations for iPad usage here at Bounty. You can also find information on recommended models, as well as some parental control features you can implement to assist with your child's learning.
Please note that we do not accept cellular iPads models for our BYOD program. When purchasing iPads for the Anywhere, Anytime iPad Program, families should purchase devices that are Wi-Fi only, not Wi-Fi + Cellular (3G/4G). iPads with sim cards (either physical or eSIM) that are brought onto the school grounds will be required to be signed into the office for the duration of the school day
