*** N.B:  Parents are to be advised that if more than 4 students are interested in being nominated for the Pine Rivers District team; a school trial will be held to determine which students will be sent to represent Bounty Boulevard State School at the district trials.

If your child is selected, permission forms need to be completed and signed by the School Principal.  All forms must be given to the team manager or coach at the commencement of the trials.  If the School Principal has not signed the permission form, students cannot attend the trials.  A small fee is also required and must be paid online prior to the trials.  To make payments, please go to; http://schoolshoponline.net.au/pineriverssports/index.aspx.  Parents also have the responsibility to arrange transportation for their child to and from the venue of where the district trials are being held.

Physical Education Attire

Please ensure that your child comes well-prepared for physical education lessons. We require that students attend lessons wearing a clearly labelled wide-brimmed hat along with having a clearly labelled water bottle. Where possible, students should also wear the school’s sports uniform.

Get Started Vouchers

If you are looking at having your child participate in a club sport this coming season, the Queensland Government have an initiative called Get Started Vouchers, which have been developed to financially assist families in getting their child into club sport. District Sports and School Calendar

In 2016, students born in 2006, 2005, 2004 will have the opportunity to attend Pine Rivers district trials in various sports. Please access our school’s calendar for the dates of these trials. Closer to each sport’s trial date, a member of the physical education staff will add a reminder to our school’s website. If you would like your child to attend a district trial, they are to receive the relevant paperwork from either Mr Baker or Mr Millers. The physical education office is located in the glasshouse on the second level of the building adjacent to the middle years undercover area. Please be aware that if we have more than 3 students interested in attending a district trial, we will conduct a trial at school to select our final 3 students.

Yours in sport,

Corey Millers (cmill181@eq.edu.au) & Matt Baker (mbake118@eq.edu.au)
