Harmony Day and Bullying. No WAY!

Bullying No Way.png
In a couple of weeks the school will be celebrating Harmony Day and Bullying No WAY!  Both of these annual events are important celebrations in our school.

Taking part in Bullying, No WAY! acknowledges the importance that we place on respectful relationships EVERYDAY.  It is one day, however, which affords us an opportunity to unpack bullying issues with students and focus on strategies which can empower them, should they need to respond to acts of bullying.

We are blessed in this school to have representations of 36 different cultures.  How amazing is that??!!

To celebrate this important event on our calendar we will be holding a special assembly on Friday 17th March where we would love members of our wider school community (mums, dads, cousins etc) to showcase their culture by performing their nation’s song or dance. Students are invited to wear an orange shirt or to wear cultural attire (cultural dress) on this day.

If you are interested in assisting could you please contact me on

Look forward to hearing from you.
